About Kwikri
Kwikri ERP is a product of Kwikri Creative Ltd, a company registered in Uganda. We build software for businesses that still run on a receipt book, a WhatsApp group and a calculator, and we keep the same habits while Kwikri does the adding up.
Who we are
Kwikri Creative Ltd is a Ugandan company based on Entebbe Road, Kampala. We design, host and support Kwikri ERP, and we answer every message ourselves.

What we believe
Simple beats clever. A cashier should learn the till in minutes, and an owner should understand every report without an accountant in the room.
Uganda first. Uganda shillings, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, URA TINs, VAT at 18%, EFRIS numbers, PAYE, NSSF and Local Service Tax are built in, not bolted on.
Your records are yours. Download everything whenever you want. If you stop paying, you can still log in and see your records.
Fair prices. One monthly price, no setup fee, no contract, and a free trial long enough to really try it.
One place for the whole business
Start with invoices. Switch on the till, stock, payroll and the rest when you need them. Every part shares the same customers, products and numbers, so nothing is typed twice.
Uganda’s rules are already set up
You shouldn’t need a spreadsheet to work out what goes to URA, NSSF and the council. Kwikri does the sums and shows you each figure, so you can check it before you pay.
- PAYE with the URA bands from July 2026 (nil up to UGX 335,000 a month)
- NSSF at 5% from the employee and 10% from the employer
- Local Service Tax by pay band, taken in four parts from July to October
- TAX INVOICE with your TIN, 18% VAT and the EFRIS fiscal document number
- 6% withholding tax: record what government and big clients withhold, track certificates and claim the credit
- PAYE, NSSF and Local Service Tax schedules ready to file on the URA and NSSF portals
- MTN MoMo and Airtel Money merchant codes printed on invoices and receipts
- Gross pay
- 3,000,000
- NSSF (5%)
- −150,000
- PAYE
- −788,250
- Local Service Tax
- −25,000
- Net pay
- 2,036,750
Built for how business really works in Uganda
Not just another ERP: answers to the everyday problems of running a shop or office in Uganda.
The debt book, without the exercise book
Sell on credit at the till to customers you trust. Kwikri keeps who owes what and for how long, warns at their credit limit, and reminds them by SMS or WhatsApp in one tap.
Pay in instalments
Phones, furniture, fees: split what is owed into weekly or monthly instalments. Each one prints on the invoice and the customer gets an SMS the day before it is due.
Match your MoMo statement
Download your MTN MoMo or Airtel Money statement and drop it in. Kwikri finds which invoice each payment is for and records them all at once, with receipts.
SMS that people actually read
Appointment, debt and instalment reminders and payment confirmations go by SMS to any MTN or Airtel number, through Africa’s Talking.
Dollars at today’s rate
Set the day’s rate once. Take US dollar cash at the till with change in shillings, and show the shilling amount on invoices priced in dollars.
Keeps selling when the power or internet goes
Load-shedding or no data? The till keeps working. Sales are kept on the device and sent the moment the connection is back.
Projects, tasks and a shared calendar
Plan jobs on a board, give each person their tasks, and book appointments with reminders. It all shows in each person’s Google Calendar.
Rent book for landlords
Rooms, flats and shops; rent invoiced monthly or every 3 or 6 months; arrears, SMS reminders, water sub-meters and statements for property owners. More
6% withholding tax handled
When government or a big client pays 6% less, Kwikri closes the invoice in full and tracks the certificate you need to claim the credit from URA.
Businesses that use a book like this
Kwikri suits any business that sells, invoices or pays staff. Here is how a few of them set it up.
Shops and minimarts
A computer or tablet at the counter, a barcode scanner and a receipt printer. Cashiers sell; the owner sees the day’s takings, stock running low and the drawer count from home.
- Shop till with scanner
- Stock and reorder warnings
- Cashier shifts and Z report
Hardware and building supplies
Walk-in customers pay at the till; contractors get quotations, then invoices with delivery notes and 30-day terms. Kwikri shows who owes what, and for how long.
- Quotation to invoice in one click
- Delivery notes
- Customers who owe you, by age
Pharmacies and drug shops
Many small items with barcodes and different prices. Label the ones without a barcode, sell at the till, and check stock value at month end.
- Barcode labels for loose items
- Low-stock list
- Sales by product
Salons and barbers
Services and products at the same till. Staff on monthly pay get payslips with PAYE, NSSF and Local Service Tax worked out.
- Services and products together
- Mobile money at the till
- Payroll and payslips
Agencies and consultants
Monthly retainers go out as recurring invoices on the same day each month. Clients get an email with a link to view and pay.
- Recurring invoices
- Invoices by email with a view link
- Several businesses under one login
Wholesalers and distributors
Buy in with purchase orders, receive into stock, sell on credit to retailers and keep an eye on who is late to pay.
- Purchase orders
- Credit sales to retailers
- Profit and loss
Your books stay yours
Each business gets its own private workspace. Only the people you add can see it, and each of them only sees what their role allows.
- Two-step sign-in with an authenticator app or a code by email, plus backup codes
- Owners can make two-step sign-in compulsory for all staff
- Email address confirmed at sign-up, so password resets reach the right person
- An activity log of who created, changed or deleted what
- Encrypted connection, and a full download of your records whenever you want it
Questions people ask
How does the free trial work?
You get full use of your chosen package for 14 days, with no card needed. Before the trial ends, choose a package and pay by MTN MoMo, Airtel Money or bank. Everything you entered stays.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Kwikri runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer. You can add it to your phone’s home screen so it opens like an app.
Which barcode scanner and receipt printer work with the till?
Any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner, the same kind supermarkets use, and any 80 mm thermal receipt printer installed on the computer. There is nothing to set up inside Kwikri. On an Android phone you can also scan with the camera.
Does Kwikri connect to URA EFRIS?
You can record the EFRIS fiscal document number (FDN) on each invoice so it prints on the document, and Kwikri prints TAX INVOICE with your TIN and 18% VAT when you are VAT registered. Sending invoices to EFRIS directly is not built in yet, so keep issuing fiscal invoices through EFRIS as usual.
Does it work when the internet or power goes off?
Yes. Open Kwikri once on the shop computer or phone while online. After that the till keeps working without internet: sales are saved on the device and sent automatically when the connection comes back.
Can I send SMS reminders?
Yes. Connect an Africa’s Talking account (about UGX 25–35 per SMS) and Kwikri sends appointment, debt and instalment reminders and payment confirmations by SMS. WhatsApp reminders work without any setup.
How do customers pay me?
Your MTN MoMo and Airtel Money merchant codes, bank details and other ways to pay print on every invoice and in the email your customer receives. When the money comes in, record it in two taps and Kwikri emails a receipt.
Can my staff use it without seeing everything?
Yes. Give each person a role: Admin, Accountant, Sales, Storekeeper or Cashier. A cashier can sell at the till but cannot give discounts, change prices or see your reports.
Write your next receipt in Kwikri.
Setting up takes about five minutes. Free for 14 days, no card needed.
